Who we are
Sheelix is the parent brand operating at sheelix.com. Our flagship product is Cliplix, an automated vertical-clip tool for streamers that sources VODs, picks the best moments, and publishes short-form clips to your connected social accounts. The sheelix.com site also hosts a public reviews section. These products are operated as a solo project by Sheel Parekh.
Data we collect
Cliplix — Twitch account
When you sign in with Twitch we receive your Twitch user ID, login name, display name, and email address. We store these in our database to identify your account.
Connected publishing platforms
If you connect YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, we store your platform account ID / handle and the OAuth access/refresh tokens required to publish clips on your behalf. All OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
Reviews (sheelix.com/reviews)
When you submit a review you sign in with Twitch or Google. We store your display name, avatar URL, and profile URL from that provider, and — for Google sign-in — your Google email address, alongside your review text and rating.
Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your card number or full payment details.
Cookies
We use functional / strictly-necessary cookies only: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived OAuth-state cookie used during the sign-in flow to prevent CSRF. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.
How we process your stream content
When you submit a VOD for clipping, the audio is extracted and sent to Groq (running OpenAI's Whisper model) to produce a speech transcript. The transcript text only (not the audio, and not any personally identifying information) is then sent to Anthropic (Claude AI) to score and identify clip-worthy moments.
- Audio is deleted immediately after transcription.
- Transcripts are not persisted after scoring is complete.
- Rendered clips are stored on Cloudflare R2 and served via short-lived signed URLs that expire within approximately 1 hour.
- Clips are retained for approximately 30 days, then deleted.
OAuth scopes we request and why
- Twitch — user:read:email: to sign you in and associate your account.
- YouTube — youtube.upload: to publish your approved clips to your YouTube channel on your explicit command.
- TikTok — video.publish / video.upload: to publish your approved clips to your TikTok account on your explicit command.
- Instagram — content publishing: to publish your approved clips to your Instagram account when you have enabled this integration.
Google Limited Use disclosure
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google user data (including email) is used only to provide the user-facing feature (sign-in / review verification).
- Google user data is never sold to third parties.
- Google user data is never used for advertising or ad targeting.
- Google user data is never used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Export your data: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you by contacting us at the email below.
- Delete your account: You can delete your account from your account settings. This cascades — it removes your stored clips and all connected platform tokens from our systems.
- Disconnect a platform: You can disconnect any connected publishing platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) from your account settings at any time. This immediately deletes the associated OAuth tokens from our database.
- Clip retention: Rendered clips are retained for approximately 30 days and then deleted automatically.

Age requirements
Our services are intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Please note that VODs you process may capture the voices of third parties (other streamers, chat participants on stream, etc.) — you are responsible for having the appropriate rights to process and publish content that includes others.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
